Common First-Time RV Rental Mistakes to Avoid

Embarking on an RV adventure is thrilling, especially for the first time. Here at 84 RV Rentals & Service, located in Sussex, NJ, we’ve compiled some practical RV rental tips to help you avoid common mistakes made by first-time renters.

How to Choose the Right RV Size?

Getting the right size for your RV is essential. A large RV may seem appealing, but maneuvering it might be a challenge if you’re new to driving such a big vehicle. On the other hand, a small RV might not provide the convenience you need. We help you find the perfect balance, offering motorhome rentals that cater to different needs and preferences.

Why is Overpacking a Big No?

When it comes to packing, less is more. Overpacking not only takes up valuable space but also adds unnecessary weight to your RV. It’s important to pack only what you need. If you’re unsure about what to bring, our team can provide you with a checklist of essentials.

Importance of RV Walkthrough

A walkthrough is your opportunity to become familiar with the RV. We ensure that every renter receives a comprehensive walkthrough, explaining the RV’s functionality, from its operational systems to its amenities. Skipping this can lead to confusion on the road, so it’s always recommended to take the time to understand your vehicle.

We also provide a range of related services, including RV sales, RV service, RV storage, and RV specials. Each of these options is designed to complement your experience and provide comprehensive solutions for all your needs.

How Crucial is Campground Planning?

Just as you wouldn’t go on a road trip without a map, you shouldn’t embark on your RV adventure without planning your campgrounds. Ensuring that the campgrounds can accommodate your RV’s size and have the necessary facilities will save you from last-minute inconvenience. We can provide recommendations based on your itinerary.
