About Us

84 RV Rentals & Service has been a family-owned business for almost 50 years, and we are proud to be able to offer our customers the selection and discounts of larger RV dealerships, while still providing the time and attention of a smaller, family- owned business.

84 RV Superstore began as Rayewood RV Centers in Sussex NJ and was started over 50 years ago by Charles and Bea Raye. Through great vision and hard work, the business soon grew into the area's premier RV sales and RV rental center, campground and RV storage facility serving northern New Jersey and Orange County, NY.

In December of 2008, management decided to focus exclusively on the RV rental & RV service portions of the business. In order to better serve our customers, we moved back to our Sussex, NJ location to continue offering RV rentals, RV service, discount RV storage and a seasonal RV campground. Today our business operates as 84 RV Rentals and services customers from New York, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and other areas.

Customer Service

At 84 RV Rentals, we are constantly striving to better serve our customers. Part of that involves our participation in the national RV community. We find that the exchange of ideas and information helps to keep us updated on the trends and changes in the RV industry. This free sharing of ideas about the RV business and RV lifestyle allows all of us to better serve our customers. The two groups that we are members of are the Recreational Vehicle Dealer Association (RVDA) and the RV Rental Success 20 Group.

Being a participating member of the Success 20 Group can actually be a benefit to our customers. We suggest that you print out the list of the Success 20 Group and take it with you on trips. In the unlikely event that you have any problems with your motor home rental, travel trailer rental or camper rental while you’re traveling, you can check the list for members in your area who will be able to assist you.

Our Philosophy

At 84 RV Rentals, because we only do RV rentals, we do rentals right. We care about the details that other companies often overlook. For example, we offer free parking at our facility for your car when you pick up your motor home. We also empty the waste tanks for you after your trip. And we don’t nickel and dime you at the end of your trip. All financial details are discussed in advance.
